Life Story for \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Brent Gary Eilander \n\n\r\n\t\t\t\tBrent Gary Eilander, age 56, formerly of Albia went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2018 at the Monroe County Hospital, Emergency Room. He was born on August 4, 1962 at Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton, IA to Donald and Joyce (McCammant) Eilander. \n\nBrent graduated from Albia High School, class of 1980. He was blessed with two children, Brenden and Shaun. He was a laborer, working for Bob Popson Construction. He was known for his hard work. He loved the outdoors, hobbies that included all types of fishing, hunting and mushrooming. He also had a passion for collecting hornets nests and drawing, especially cartoon characters.\n\nHe is survived by two sons, Brenden (Alaina) and Shaun Eilander of Des Moines, his parents Donald and Joyce Eilander of Albia; siblings; Kelley (Terry) Yenger of Newton, Kimberly (Mike) Beaty of Moravia, Brian Eilander of Los Angeles, California, half brother, Donnie Eilander of Delaware; Nephews Jeremy (Reanna) Yenger of Newton, Donavan (Nicole) Beaty of Albia, nieces Tara (Josh) Whitson of Newton, Brianna Beaty of Moravia. Great nieces and nephews, Izabella, Gabriel, Brklyn Whitson, Ainsley, Benson and Cabot Yenger all of Newton. He also is survived by lots of aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend and coworker Bob Popson. \n\nFuneral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia. A funeral luncheon will follow services at the Albia Baptist Temple. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, opening to the public at 1:00 p.m, with family greeting friends from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday evening at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia.
