Obituary for \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Bryan Allen Dye\n\r\n\t\t\t\tBryan Allen Dye, age 49, of Albia died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospital. He was born on May 23, 1966 to Richard and Vivian (Leggett) Dye. Bryan graduated from Albia, class of 1984. He married Chris Judge on May 11, 1991. They were blessed with two children, Judge and Jacob. Bryan and Chris later divorced. He then met Terri Thomas and they spent their next twenty years together. He owned and operated Quality Propane, and later BD Recovery. He also bartended at the Eagles Club and the Knights of Columbus Hall. Bryan loved comedy. He enjoyed listening to comedians, and going to comedy clubs. He was a bit of a comedian himself. He could put a smile on anyone's face with his jokes. He was a hard worker, and would always be there to help others. He also enjoyed bowling, boating, camping, grilling, four wheeling, and doing anything outdoors. He was an avid Chicago Cubs, Iowa Hawkeye, and Oakland Raiders fan. Bryan was a great father, and grandfather. He absolutely loved coaching Judge's and Jake's little league baseball teams, and attending his grandson's tee ball games. Survivors include his significant other, Terri Thomas of Albia; sons, Judge Dye of Albia, Jacob Dye of West Des Moines; mother, Vivian (Gary) Stafford of Albia; grandson, Kayden Dye of Albia; step-brothers, Mark (Tami) Stafford of Indianola, and Paul (Susie) Stafford of Monroe. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Bill and Dorothy Leggett, and Elizabeth and Earl Dye, and two brothers in infancy. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia with Jason Summers officiating. Burial will follow services in Oak View Cemetery in Albia. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 opening to the public at 1:00 pm and family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday evening at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia.
