Carolyne Jean Thompson, age 76, of Agency, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at her residence. She was born on February 19, 1942 in Ottumwa, Iowa. \n\nShe married Harlan "Max" Thompson on August 24, 1965 in Lancaster, MO. Harlan preceded her in death on February 18, 1994. \n\nCarolyne enjoyed flowers, animals, and especially spending time with family. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. \n\nCarolyne is survived by her children, Craig (Chris) Thompson of Eldon, Deb (Mardy) Randolph of Ottumwa, Brian (Joy) Thompson of Ottumwa, Kathryn (Gino) Francavilla of Florida; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and siblings, Linda Laughlin of Douds, Connie (Lawrence) Tedrow of New Mexico, Leonard (Peggy) Courtney of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan, and one brother-in-law, Howard Laughlin. \n\nVisitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Sinnott Funeral Home in Ottumwa. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 in Ottumwa Cemetery with Pastor Jesse Elkins officiating.
