Charles Walter Kraft, age 67, of Albia, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 in Newtown, MO. He was born on March 5, 1951 in Ocheyedan, Iowa to Vernon and Florence Rose (Miller) Kraft. \n\nCharles graduated from High School in Ocheyedan. He married Marilyn McNamara on July 17, 1993. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising birds, racing, family get-togethers, and being Santa Claus. \n\nHe is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Albia; children, Angela (Dan) Kampfe of Wesley, Tony (Allison) Kraft of Joice, Charlie Kraft of Lake Mills, Jessica Lawver of Spencer, Carrie Kraft of Albia; two brothers, Cliff (Kay) Kraft of Fort Dodge, Don (Donna) Kraft of Lebanon, TN; twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and mother and father-in-law, David and Thelma Next of Green. He was preceded in death by his parents. \n\nA Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 6:30 p.m., at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018, opening to the public at 3:00 p.m., and family will be present to greet friends from 4-8 p.m., Thursday evening at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia.
