Clemens Kruse Obituary (1940 - 2022)

Clemens George Kruse, Jr, age 82, died December 29, 2022 in Leesburg, FL. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kruse (Oard); children, Kimberly Davis (Kruse) and Scott Kruse; grandchildren, Ashton Davis, Alec Davis, Elizabeth Turgeau (Kruse) and Ben Kruse; siblings, David Kruse, Ruth McGee (Kruse), Martha Fairfield (Kruse), Paul Kruse, Mark Kruse and Ila Schmidt (Kruse). Clem was born in Chicago, IL to Reverend Clemens George Kruse, Sr and Merle Beatrice Kruse (Steckhan). He was the oldest of 8 children. He graduated from Bethany Nazarene University with a BA in Sociology, Business and Religion. He followed in his father's footsteps and became an ordained minister and pastored churches in Iowa and was a Minister of Education in California. After he left the ministry, he moved into management at Union Ice, IPDC and McDonnell Douglas. Since retiring in 1994, he has focused on his passion - model trains. He loved to travel by Amtrak and took several cross country train trips. He loved building railroads and adding to his train collection. Mr. Clem enjoyed showing off his train museum to people of all ages. A Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, January 1, 2023, 2pm at Leesburg Church of the Nazarene, 2100 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Leesburg, FL 34748 The family requests no flowers for the celebration.
