Deb Coy Obituary (1954 - 2024)

Deb Renee Coy, 69, passed away at 2 PM June 05, 2024, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center with family at her side. She was born on June 27th, 1954, to Alvin and Lottie Steinbach in Ottumwa, Iowa. She married Petros Gritzalis on July 17th, 1978, in Ottumwa and divorced in 1989. She then married Ralph Coy on June 18th, 1999, in Ottumwa, Iowa. She is survived by her husband Ralph, her children, Ann Gritzalis-Shilling of Fremont, Hresa (Elio) Basilio, Maria Wilson, and Niko (Michelle) Gritzalis all of Ottumwa, 7 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter. Mother Lottie Steinbach, brothers, Alan (Jan), Bill, Dave (Debbie), Tony (Jane), and John Steinbach and a sister Peggie Steinbach. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and a great great-niece, of whom she all loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin and her brother Charlie Steinbach. No funeral services are planned. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Sinnott Funeral Home in Ottumwa is assisting the family with arrangements.
