Della Carder

A life lived with unconditional love, steadfast determination, and a heart full of warmth, Della Carder, born on November 10, 1939, in Fairfield, IA, embarked on her eternal journey on August 29, 2026. A woman of immeasurable strength and admirable grace, relishing in the simple pleasures that life offered. Her home was always filled with the sweet aroma of home-cooked meals, the rustling pages of a good book, and the sound of hearty laughter. For Della, family was her guiding star, the epicenter of her universe. As a homemaker, she nurtured her home with an abundance of love and care. Della's legacy is her unwavering devotion, selflessness, and the countless precious moments she shared with those closest to her.

She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Fiedler, step children, Kathy (Dick) Turner, William (Rosemary) Carder; grandchildren and great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Shelly Carder; siblings, Dixie (Jeff), and Gary (Nancy), and many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Marietta; husband, Jack; son, Richard, and sister, Kay Berg.

Della has been cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
