Georgia Robinson, age 90, passed away on July 22, 2020 at the Monroe Care Center in Albia. She was born on May 5, 1930 to George and Mary (Brace) Harrison in Hamilton, Iowa. \n\nGeorgia graduated from Lovilia High School, class of 1948. She married Lee Robinson shortly after on October 23, 1948 in Nashua, Iowa at the Little Brown Church. Georgia and Lee shared 65 years of marriage until his passing in 2014. They were blessed with two children, Terry and Carolyn. \n\nShe was a homemaker, and also farmed with her husband Lee. Georgia enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, knitting and gardening. She will always be remembered for being a good cook. Overall, her true passion in life was spending time with family. \n\nShe is survived by her children; Terry Robinson (Judy Seddon) of Knoxville, Carolyn (Kevin) Heisel of Fairfield, siblings; James Harrison, Emma Severino, Peggy Feagins, David (Barbara) Harrison and Judy (Jim) Bonnett. She also is survived by five grandchildren, Nic (Amy) Robinson, Tina (Nate) Shippers, Sheila (Chad) Larson, Shawn Heisel and Andrea Nixon, Aimee Gorsh, and six great grandchildren. She was preceded death by her parents, George and Mary Harrison, husband Lee Robinson, siblings, Betty Lawson, John Harrison and Gerry Robuck. \n\nFuneral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia with Pastor Raymond Doser officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Lovilia. According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event.
