Obituary for Gerry Eugene McCrory Gerry Eugene McCrory, age 57, of Ottumwa, died on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Ridgewood Specialty Care in Ottumwa, under the care of Care Initiatives Hospice. He was born on May 16, 1960 in Moravia to Lloyd and Evelyn (Callen) McCrory. He enjoyed coin collecting, antiques, music, and tropical fish. He is survived by his children, Joel McCrory of Iowa City, Jessica (Jim) Streit of Iowa City; father, Lloyd McCrory of Ottumwa, brother, Roger (Shanda) McCrory of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Joy (Richard) Davison of Owatonna, MN, and sister-in-laws, Sara McCrory of Ottumwa, and Melinda McCrory of Beebee, AR. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, Evelyn, and three brothers, Paul, Danny, and John. Gerry has been cremated per his wishes. A private family burial of cremains will be held at a later date.
