JoAnn E. White Morris

JoAnn E. White Morris, age 77, of Ottumwa, died on Monday, April 4, 2016 at her residence in Ottumwa. She was born on September 14, 1938 to Joseph and Dota (Fogle) Hall. She married Irvin White and they were blessed with six children: Ricky, Rhonda, John, Joe, Becky, and Dean. They later divorced, and she then married George Morris Jr. George died on December 28, 1995. She was a homemaker, and also worked in the cafeteria at Evans Junior High School. She also was a housekeeper at the Stardust Hotel until retirement. She enjoyed cooking, baking, camping, fishing, and she especially loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Ricky White of Ottumwa, John White of Ottumwa, Joe (Robyn) White of Fairfield, Becky (Jim) Richards of Pennsylvania, and Dean White of Ottumwa, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Donna Davis of Iowa City, and son-in-law Roger Kinney of Ottumwa. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Morris Jr.; daughter, Rhonda Kinney; and brother, Donald Hall. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 8, 2016 at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home in Ottumwa. Burial will follow services in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home in Ottumwa. Memorials may be directed to the family..
