John Carl Trinkle, age 70, of Bussey died Friday morning, February 13, 2015 at Westridge Nursing and Rehabilitation in Knoxville. He was born on July 17, 1944 to Jake and Barbara (Brady) Trinkle. John graduated from Twin Cedars High School in Bussey, class of 1962. He was a farmer. He liked horses, indians, playing cards, and cribbage. He is survived by his sister Phyllis Force of Hamilton, and brother Jim (Annette) Trinkle of Bussey, nieces and nephews, Dan Force of Lovilia, Dr. Sandra (Bill) Hecht of Lenexa, KS, Kathy (Mark) Robertson of St. Peters, MO, Joel (Elizabeth) Trinkle of Apple Valley, MN, Joy (Eric) Silvis of Amery, WI, and many great nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Joseph Trinkle at birth, and Kay Trinkle. Celebration of Life services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Bussey United Methodist Church with Rev. Rebekkah Shrimplin and Rev. Neil Montz officiating. John's body will be cremated following his services. Burial will be at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery in Bussey. visitation will be held on Tuesday, opening to the public at 1:00 pm and family being present from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening at Sinnott Pierschbacher funeral home in Lovilia.
