Kane Ray Bruns, 4 months, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 13, 2019 in Pella, Iowa to Kaylee Bruns. \n\nKane was full of laughs & smiles, and loved making others do the same. He enjoyed watching the movies Moana and How to Train Your Dragon with his mom. He loved his cuddles from his aunties, Athena and Cheyanne. He also enjoyed going to the races and river, taking baths, pulling the blanket over his head to play peekaboo, flirting with the girls, and being called handsome little man or chunky monkey. \n\nKane leaves many loving survivors; mother, Kaylee Bruns of Oskalossa; grandparents, Brad and Shanna Bruns of Bussey; aunts Cheyanne and Athena Bruns (Kohlton Kirkpatrick), Kisha Reed, all of Bussey; great grandparents, Gary and Connie Bruns of Oskaloosa, Albert "Butch" Bregar of Bussey, Nancy Hook Mansouri of Moberly, Mo; great aunts and uncles, Shasta Watson of Knoxville, Nick Bregar of Hamilton, Albert "Bud" (Chrys) Bregar of Bussey, Troy (Karen) Bruns of Wichita, Travis (Renee) Ellsworth of Leighton, Jess (Kathy) Ellsworth of Leighton; cousins, Leah and Koda Watson, Mark Bregar, Erin and Iris Bregar, Gavin and Kenzy Bruns, and the IR Racing family. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Karen Bregar; great great grandmother, Nellie Bregar; step great grandfather, Jesse Ellsworth, and great great grandparents, Raymond and Vera Bruns. \n\nFuneral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Sinnott Funeral Home, Gilbert Chapel in Lovilia. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, opening to the public at 3:00 p.m. and Kane's family will be present to greet friends from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday evening at Sinnott Funeral Home, Gilbert Chapel in Lovilia.
