Larry Allen Hofler, age 66, of Knoxville, died on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Accura Healthcare in Knoxville. He was born on July 22, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa to Ward Frank and Letha (Wales) Hofler. Larry was a farmer. He was a boy scout in his younger years, and his faith was also very important to him. He is survived by his mother, Letha (Darrel) Binkman of Clarksville, siblings, Marilyn (George) Bell of Minneapolis, MN, Nancy (Randy) Bonnett of Harvey, IA, special aunt, Jane Ruby of Des Moines, IA, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ward Hofler, three uncles, Bob Kooyman, Leonard Wales, Lloyd Ruby, and one aunt, Ruth Wales. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Bussey United Methodist Church with Rev. Rebekkah Shrimplin officiating. Larry will be cremated following services per his wishes. Visitation will be on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
