Obituary for \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Lola Wilda Keeney\n\r\n\t\t\t\tLola Keeney, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and aunt was transported to Heaven to be with her Savior on Sunday, June 26, 2017, at the age of 91. She was born on October 10, 1925 in Lucas County, the daughter of Edward J. and Frances (Cooper) Phipps. On March 14, 1946 she married the love of her life, Glenn Keeney at Wapello, Iowa. She was devoted to her church all her life. She is currently a member of the Moravia Church of the Nazarene. She loved her family and spent her life caring for them. Her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren were the light of her life.Her family includes her husband, Glenn, who preceded her in death in 2015, 4 children and their spouses, Kathy and Don Major, Edward and Sandy Keeney, Patti and Dan Cantrell, Darrell and Jody Keeney, eight grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, her sister Opal, and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Opal Grierson, and a son, Edward Keeney.A Luncheon will be served from 12:00 -1:30 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the Lighthouse Church of the Nazarene in Moravia. Visitation will follow the luncheon on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 2:00 -3:00 p.m., at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia, Iowa. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia with Pastor Mark Wagner officiating. Burial will follow services in Woodlawn Cemetery in Lovilia.
