Michael Wayne Miller, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at his residence in Albia. He was born on April 19, 1953 to Charles Robert and Svea "Toby" Elvira (Samuelson) Miller. \n\nMichael was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was really good with working with his hands especially woodworking. He made all types of wood pieces with each one having a unique design. You could always find Michael under a car hood, he had a true passion for working on cars. Many people learned all types of tricks on how to fix a car from him. He truly loved his daughter and grandchildren. \n\nHe is survived by his daughter, Jessica Sewell of Des Moines, three grandchildren, Corbyn Miller, Kayla Smith and Rylee Sewell, one great grandchild Avery Miller. He also is survived by two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Robert and Svea "Toby" Elvira Miller, step-mother, Norma Miller, one sister, Barbara Brown, two brothers, Larry and Charles Miller, he also was preceded in death by a sister Janet in infancy. \n\nA Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Albia Reservoir.
