Click here to share memories, pictures, view memorial slideshow or to view livestream services for Nick\n\nNicholas Austin Roberts-Dicks, age 25, of Ottumwa, Iowa, died on November 27, 2022 at his residence in Ottumwa. \n\nFuneral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Sinnott Funeral Home in Ottumwa with Shane Frazier officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, opening to the public at 4:00 p.m., with Nick's family present to greet friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday evening at Sinnott Funeral Home in Ottumwa. Please wear a Proficient Contracting shirt to the visitation if you have one available. Memorials may directed to the family. Online condolences may be left at sinnottfuneralhome.com or the Sinnott Funeral Home Facebook page.\n\nNick was born on January 24, 1997 in Ottumwa to Gerald "Gene" and Tara (Lord) Roberts-Dicks. He went to school in Ottumwa. He was very hardworking. He worked at Pizza Ranch in Ottumwa and was managing his own store at the age of 19. He currently owned and operated Proficient Contracting. He was very proud of his business, and he loved his crew. \n\nNick was blessed with a daughter that he absolutely adored, Remington. He loved his dog, Benelli. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, especially smoking meat, going to the casino, playing baseball, slow pitch softball, frisbee golf, bowling at Champion Bowl where he was on a bowling team with his girlfriend Cybil. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, and Iowa Hawkeye fan. The thing he cherished the most was spending time with family, friends, and especially his daughter Remi and her bonus mom Cybil. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. \n\nSurvivors include his daughter, Remington "Remi" (whom he shared with Katie Replogle); parents, Gene (Tami) Roberts-Dicks of Ottumwa, Tara (Bill Cooksey) Roberts-Dicks of Ottumwa; girlfriend, Cybil Lennie of Ottumwa; paternal grandmother, Delores Dicks of Ottumwa; maternal grandmother, Brenda Lord of Ottumwa; siblings, Kalina (Carter Shepard) Lord of Ottumwa, Maegan (Cameron) Schnoebelen of Oskaloosa, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Bertha Roberts, Frank Dicks; and maternal grandfather, Donald Lord.
