Obituary for \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Ronald "Joe" Bregar\n\r\n\t\t\t\tRonald (Joe) Bregar, age72, of Knoxville, formerly of Bussey passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born on December 7, 1941 to Albert and Nellie (Green) Bregar in Hamilton, Iowa. Joe married Ethel Alzina Yates on February 16, 1963 in the Bussey United Methodist Church. . They were blessed with six children: Judy, Jackie, Jami, Rick, Jody, and Jenny. He was a hard worker; working the coalmines for many years. His world revolved around his family. Joe was a pool shark, and enjoyed bingo, fishing and hunting. In his later years he was known as the King of Park Lane in Knoxville, and has a crown to prove it. He is survived by his children, Judy (Steve) Routh of Knoxville, Jackie Fee-Porter (Bill) of Des Moines, Jami Bregar of Des Moines, Rick Bregar and Chris of Bussey, Jody (Fred) Evans of Richmond, OH, Jenny (Kelly) Bonnett of Bussey, seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and he was waiting for two more to arrive, mother, Nellie Bregar of Bussey, siblings, Marty Kendall of Bussey, Butch Bregar of Bussey, Porky Bregar of Bussey, and Kathy (Joe) Welsh of Lovilia. He is preceded by wife Ethel; father, Albert Bregar, son-in-law, Roger Fee, and brother Denny Bregar. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lovilia with Vince Goemaat officiating. Joe will be cremated following funeral services. Visitation will be Monday, November 18, 2013, opening to the public at 1:00 pm and the family will be present from 6-8 pm Monday evening at the funeral home in Lovilia.
