Ronnie Shannon Hull SR. age 71, of Ottumwa, passed away on March 5, 2019 at the Unity Point ER of Marshalltown. He was born on October 15, 1947 in Ottumwa to Glenn and Bertha (Jones) Hull. \n\nRonnie enlisted with The United States Army and served his country in Vietnam. After serving, he worked various jobs throughout his life, Ottumwa Sanitation, cab driver, truck driver and drove for Ottumwa Transit until a car accident caused his disability in 1977. He was married three times but later divorced.\n\nRonnie enjoyed working on cars, fishing, weight lifting and wrestling at the Ottumwa Colosseum. He also enjoyed visiting with his buddies, Jim Randall and Mike Kelley.\n\nHe is survived by his children, Ronnie Jr. Hull of Pennsylvania, Geraldine Hull of Indianapolis, Nicole Hull of Ottumwa, Daniel (Megan) Hull of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Raquel (Umberto) Ramirez, Seth Hull, Hillary Hull, all of Cuba Missouri; Johnathon Dye, Mathew Dye, Kaelea Bell, Domonick Story, Christopher Hull, Dylan Richards, Lorinda, Tabitha, Niquita, Samantha, and Wyatt Hull, Talon Hull, Hadleigh Brewer, all of Bloomfield; nineteen great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Wendy Jackson of Cuba, Missouri. He also is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Bertha Hull; a daughter Angela Dye; siblings, Mike Hull and Nancy Houser.\n\nVisitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Sinnott Funeral Home in Ottumwa. Graveside Services will follow in Shaul Cemetery conducted by Brother Mark Smith with military rites conducted by Walter B. Schafer Post #775 Veterans of Foreign Wars and O.B. Nelson Post #3 American Legion. Memorials may be directed to the V.A. of Marshalltown or Jesus Is The Answer Fellowship of Ottumwa.
