Obituary for Rowena M. Shelford Rowena M. Shelford, age 77, of Lovilia, IA passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in Marion County as a result of an automobile accident. She was born on February 8, 1934 to Stanley and Loretta (Chance) Tucker. She lived her entire life in Lovilia and graduated from Lovilia High School in 1952. She was united in marriage to Don Shelford on January 16, 1954. She is survived by her husband Don of fifty-seven years, two sons, Terry (Linda) Shelford of Knoxville, and Larry (Beth) Shelford of Lovilia; two sisters, Janette (Bill) Flahive of Albia, and Beverly Sampson of Alexandria, VA, and one brother, Donnie Tucker of Lovilia, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and three special nieces, Cindy Angran, Linda Tucker, and Donna Flahive. She is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister in infancy. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lovilia with Rev Dale Shoening officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Lovilia. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011, opening to the public at 9:00 a.m. and the family will be present from 2-4 p.m. at the Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lovilia.
