Waylon Dean Peterson "The Little Warrior" had his last battle, and heaven gained a little angel on Monday, May 27, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. He was born on May 14, 2019 to Jeremy and Heather (Graham) Peterson. He is survived by his parents, Jeremy and Heather Peterson of Albia, siblings, Wyatt Peterson, Rossilynn Nace, Raidyn Peterson, Talan Peterson; paternal grandparents, Dave and Carol Peterson of Albia, maternal grandparents, Dennis II (Kim) Graham of Avery, Cindy Graham of Albia, and Kathy (Paul) Smith of Promise City; paternal great grandparents, Maxine Peterson of Albia, and Kenneth Stephens of Albia; maternal great grandparents, Patricia Graham of Avery, and Karen Henderson of Albia, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Gerald Peterson, and Marilyn Stephens, and maternal great grandparents, Dennis Graham, and Keith Henderson. A public visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. with Waylon's family present at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia. A private family funeral will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019. Memorials may be made in memory of Waylon and directed to the family.
